Brand development

Client: Nextgen Energy

Project: Brand Identity, website and marketing material

Entrusted with developing a brand identity for this new business in the renewable energy sector, our concepts focused on creating a solution that was visually connected to nature while representing solar power.

The final artwork for the logo was created using the mathematical formula of Fibonacci numbers, often found in nature and here representing the arrangement of seeds in a sunflower head. Typography is modern with a semi-slab serif, while the devised colour palette purposely spanned the transition from cold to warm with carefully considered complementary swatches for the company name picked out to work on both a black, white or photographic background.

Our graphic designers were then asked to take the brand elements through to a set of business stationery, design and development work to build the website, design the company brochure, marketing literature, advertising, display boards for use at site installations and large format graphic wraps applied to all company vehicles.

Design-led is key in our now visually aware world. Many recognise it as a critical competitive advantage. To appoint an experienced capable design studio from the outset is a wise investment and ensures the visual aspects for your brand are carefully considered and consistent. Perceptions form opinions, good design is great for business.
